The third "International Conference on Investigative Interviewing" will be hosted by Canada in 2008, sometime around June. I will provide additional information about the conference here (Truth&Lies Blog) as it becomes available. The 3rd International Conference on Investigative Interviewing will be June 16-19, 2008 at the École Nationale de Police du Québec(Quebec National Police Academy)
The theme of the conference will be "The Research of the Truth".
The 16th will have designated half-day workshops which are not yet specified. The 17th will be focussed on interrogation, lie detection, polygraph and detecting deception. The 18th will be focused mainly on victim/witness interviewing, children interviews, hypnosis, false allegations, etc. The last day will have discussions of interview and interogation techniques and suggested directions of future research.
